Besides the Peoples Run – Memorial Mother Theresa of Calcutta, in the occasion of her beatification several important initiatives are foreseen. A special work group has been formed, coordinated by a special minister of the Prime Minister, Blendi Klosi. There are going to be different manifestations not only in Albania but also in other countries where there are strong Albanian communities, such as Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro. Among the various projects dedicated to Mother Theresa, a monument at the Rinas Airport in Tirana, a contest that will prize the best art, science and movie creations, the official announcement for a week of spiritual and scientific activities about her works and the opening at the beginning of October of an Art Show, publications and documents about her figure. The most important project however is the setting up of an appropriate area in the National Historic Museum, illustrating the life and work of Mother Theresa.
